When you use services provided by weiies, we may collect and summarize the following information about you: your personal identity information, mobile phone number, identification information (including but not limited to facial features, fingerprint information), device model, MAC address, operating system type, device identifiers (IMEI, AndroidID, IDFA, OpenUDID and other basic device information), location information (including precise location), device serial number, sensor information, mobile phone status information. We may also collect call function, read/write storage card information, clipboard information, camera permission, auto-start permission, system crash information, etc. We collect such information mainly to provide you with normal product usage services and a better user experience.

1.2 Detailed Description of Permissions We Request and Use of Collected Information

Personal information is collected to provide you with products and/or services and to ensure our compliance with applicable laws. You hereby consent that we may process personal information for the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy and disclose personal information to our affiliates (engaged in communication, social media, technology and cloud business) and third-party service providers (as defined below). Meanwhile, we use third-party SDKs to meet the basic functional needs of the App, during which your device and personal information may be used to provide you with more complete services. With your authorization and consent, we may use personal information for the following purposes and scopes:

(1) Provide, process, maintain, improve and develop our products and/or services to you, as well as through devices or services provided by us.

(2) Communicate with you regarding your device, services or general inquiries (such as updates, device firmware/software upgrades, customer support, relevant information, notifications).

(3) Connect smart devices and provide intelligent data push services on the device side.

(4) Analyze and develop statistics related to the use of our products and services to better improve them.

(5) Store and maintain information related to you for operating our business or fulfilling legal obligations.

(6) Provide local services without communicating with our servers.

(7) Create your weiies account. When creating an account via webpage or mobile device, collected personal information is used to establish your personal account and profile page.

(8) Provide location-based services:

• Purpose: In device binding and management, Bluetooth scanning and WiFi distribution are performed. Location permission is used to quickly scan Bluetooth devices and obtain the currently connected WiFi.
• Method: Apply for location permission via pop-up prompt, obtained after user consent.
• Scope: Bluetooth device binding, WiFi device distribution, Bluetooth operations.

(9) Device access: When operating a device through the App, we need to verify the authenticity of the device by checking the factory device barcode serial number to confirm its legitimate identity. In addition, when the device needs network connection, the App will perform corresponding network settings, during which you need to enter the Wi-Fi name and password. Such information is only used for device network configuration. The Wi-Fi name and password you enter will be encrypted and stored locally on the device and will not be uploaded to the server. You may delete such information in the device at any time. Meanwhile, we select the optimal networking mode for the device by judging IP and network signals to ensure stable networking.

(10) Device status display: Allow you to remotely view device status to monitor operation at any time.

(11) Set automation tasks: Event information reported by your device (from added devices; configurable information depends on your privacy authorization for the device. Each added device will provide its own privacy policy for your choice) may be used to create personal automation tasks.

(12) Provide push services:

• Purpose: Integrate third-party push SDKs to push door lock event records and notifications to your App and mobile phone.
• Method: Integrate Jiguang, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, VIVO and other push SDKs. After user agrees to privacy policy, SDKs initialize and push door lock events via device ID.
• Scope: Push notifications to Android devices including Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, VIVO when door lock events occur.

(13) Collect user feedback: Feedback you provide is valuable for improving services. We may contact you using your personal information to track feedback and keep records.

(14) Send notifications: We may use your personal information to send important notices, such as device abnormal status, customized device push notifications (depending on purchased devices), and changes to our terms, conditions and policies.

(15) Camera permission:

• Purpose: Scan barcodes for device binding, take photos to change avatar.
• Method: Apply for camera permission via pop-up, obtained after user consent.
• Scope: Scan device QR codes for binding, take photos for avatar changes.

(16) Obtain app installation list:

• Purpose: Determine whether the current app is this application to enable services and ensure normal operation.
• Method: Obtained when the App is running.
• Scope: Connect door viewer devices, monitor whether the App is in the foreground, push viewer notifications to the foreground App and display incoming call pop-ups.

(17) Storage permission:

• Purpose: Store relevant data or files and provide local saving services.
• Method: Apply for media storage permission via pop-up, obtained after user consent.
• Scope: Select images from album for avatar, save images and videos locally.

(18) Collect device Mac, IMEI, Android ID, app installation list, etc.:

• Purpose: Used by third-party SDKs such as Alibaba Cloud Push, Umeng, Agora to push device intelligent information and count App downloads, installations and usage.

(19) Call permission: Make customer service calls via the App for product or after-sales consultation.

(20) Obtain IP information:

• Purpose: Provide location-based services, conduct security audits, and count bound device information.
• Method: Apply for device or network IP information via pop-up, obtained after user consent.
• Scope: During App operation, device binding, WiFi scanning, WiFi distribution.

(21) Obtain WiFi scan results:

• Purpose: Obtain current connected WiFi information for device WiFi distribution.
• Method: Apply for WiFi scan results via pop-up or read when device requires WiFi configuration.
• Scope: During App operation, device binding, nearby WiFi scanning, WiFi distribution.

(22) Access clipboard information:

• Purpose: Copy or share text such as device serial number, temporary password, download link. When you input via copy-paste, we read clipboard information for quick input. We do not actively monitor your clipboard and only process it locally.
• Method: Long press text to auto-copy with "Copied" prompt, or read clipboard text and paste in App input box.
• Scope: Copy device SN, temporary password, download link, paste in App edit box.
